BREAKING THE WAVES

The work illustrates a mature vision of reflection on the experience that engulfs us and leads to a change of life and habits as well as to new daily wanderings, marked by contemplation and the reappropriation of the forest as a resource.

The impossibility of channeling the numerous information and multiple disturbances, taking the form of overstimulation, is translated in the work by the high density of the pieces on the one hand and on the other by the softness of the curved lines, calling for lightness, calm and stability. The sense of repetition is rectified, breaking with the demanding work, purified by the ritual of a daily routine that leaves room for tranquility and evacuates chaos.

The work includes the inevitable: cutting, folding, gluing, classifying, calibrating, transforming. Repetitions of a meditative gesture, a metaphor for the act of introspection and choices.

TOPOGRAPHY OF DAYS

Topography of days… It is time that unravels into layers, in a process that expands a perimeter of life.

In my work we still find the inevitable actions of "sorting", "classifying" and "calibrating", as gestures demanding more slowness, authenticity, self-acceptance.

In the work as in the reflection, these gestures lead to meditation and present themselves as a metaphor for the act of introspection and anchoring, gently, and finally, in a new environment.
